I know, it's been MONTHS since I've been on here. Again. I've come to the realization that I am not a blogger. Well, I could be... but I just haven't had time. I'm an office administrator, mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, and monster lady. So, it's been busy! I wanted to update my upcoming markets and make sure this neglected blog was still looking tidy. I'll be working on my IG widget, which I have no idea how to fix!
Monsters are still consuming my days. And I will confirm how super fortunate I am still to be able to supply Summit Lodge Boutique Hotel in Whistler BC, with them. There is ALOT of monster love down there with all their visitor. So, if you are one of them, THANK YOU! When you buy handmade, I can keep on monstering on :)
So, I have 2 upcoming markets that are local, updated in the "upcoming markets" tab. And they are still available through etsy. If you can't find what you're looking for, please message me! I am always taking custom orders.
I'll be back, hopefully soon :)

As you can see, my blogging is not progressing much. I've been busy, sewing! For real :)
As I write this, I remember I need to order more tags. Whistler is keeping me pretty busy, so I am undecided on any markets this year. Maybe a couple of farmers markets, and the thought of Etsy Made in Canada again. Will update more when I know. Until then, I will try and have a handful of monsters in my Etsy shop, which is currently empty! Ack! :(
I am still transitioning from procrastinating part time, to sewing full time. It's a work in progress, but coming along :)
Lots of cute faces have moved to Whistler this year! I will try, try, try, to post some fun Sherman bloggity bits! Talk SOON! xx

Hello! Happy Monday :)
Or, whatever day you might be reading this :)
As some of you may, or may not know, I have been shipping my monsters to Summit Lodge for a couple of years now. They put them in their rooms, and people can adopt them :) Seriously Awesome! Lorraine (Operations Director) found me on etsy, asked me to try it out, and our relationship has evolved! So many people have visited this hotel, and adopted monsters, which have traveled all around. So, we were lucky enough to catch a quick vaca this year, and visit ourselves!
Whistler is such an awesome place. Reminds me a little of Banff, but BIGGER. I love all the patios, and how outdoorsy it is, as well as the view :) Summit is located on Main Street, in the center of all the awesomeness!
This place has the most adorable details! Firstly, there are sock monsters on their beds ;) The shampoo, conditioner, and soap, not only smells amazing, but it's in these trendy little containers! The rooms are adorable, ipad minis, a little kitchenette, table for dining, and couch for vegging. - Or, sewing sock monsters if you hubby decides to go zip-lining, and there is no way you are going :)
Equipped with a little snack bar. Wine, chips, popcorn. Cute note pads! Cool pens! Even the door knocker made me smile.
Reunited and it feels so good. Sherman was especially ecstatic to meet one of his own. You could tell this little guy was loved, and I felt kinda bad not taking him home! Sherm and him had fun catching up, watching some cartoons, and testing out the Whistler chocolate :)
I could go on and on, but I recommend checking it out for yourself! The view, amazing, the people, awesome. It was so nice to meet Lorraine, and Tony, and we were so thankful they were able to take some time out to chat with us (over an awesome breakfast)! We hope to visit again, and you should too! Check them out HERE.
