New Stuff!

Hello! Firstly I would like to say thanks to all of you who are checking out my (& Dinnon's) little site here in blog world. For those of you who know me.. you know that I am not new to blogging, but I do have a tendancy to start up, and then it falls to the waste side :( I promise not to let that happen this time!

So a quick intro! I am Bonnie, and I have always have been "crafty". I love all types of crafts, and you will for surely hear about it as the posts go on. About a year and a half ago I decided to pick up a sewing machine, and started making blankets. A little further on, I came across socks, and who knew they could be sooo much fun? After seeing all the different critters you could make from them, I tried my hand at them, and haven't stopped since.
Dinnon was about my 10th Monster. He is not shy in any way, but more of a poser at times. I had some odd, instant attachment to Dinnon, and decided to add him to my family, and he is now the face of my little crafty business.
As time goes on, I am sure you will become extremely familiar with this crew! Here Dinnon is pictured with Klip (left), and Domo.
It might not all be monster talk.. I love LOVE love to crochet, and actually came across a "babette" on Flickr one day..and decided I HAD to learn. So, I searched various sites, and watched youtube, and after a month or two, I had the "Granny Square" fairly mastered. So.. with alot of yarn, and devoted hours, 3 months later I finished my first blanket, and I love it! In my crochet travels I have come across an awesome little crochet and life blog, which I will be talking about here and there.
And yet another hobby of mine is photography. Just last year, I finally took a course or two, and am learning (slowly) how to use my Digital SLR. So.. every so often I will be posting some fave's..which at times do include monsters.. maybe even wrapped up in crochet ;)
Monsters have recently really taken off and have been keeping me on my toes for sure. The Christmas season seems to have people looking for that unique gift, and these guys are pretty fun. I am sure there will be one or two popping their heads out of our stockings at home Christmas morning.
So, now with a couple of Christmas sales passed, I have one more to go, and an interest from a few others, so I finally decided to get on the band wagon, and start a Website, a Facebook Fan Page, and and Etsy Shop! Yay! Everything is a work in progress, but it's coming along!
So, if you get a chance, pop by my Etsy Shop to meet Yoddle, she is hanging out there all by herself right now, but I do hope to get a few more up for adoption soon!
