A little random post today, but a yummy one!
Who doesn't like Chocolate Chip Cookies? AND.. Monsters? :)
Meet Vloot, he is dashing little monster I have hanging out
in my Etsy shop right now..and he decided to help me out
with baking cookies this weekend.
We made sure to put a fair amount in, and mix
them up really good :)
lasts only about a WEEK. It took me a loooong time to
master the soft, chewychocolate chip cookie, but thanks to my
Aunt Corrinne, I finally succeeded!
Super Ninja Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 Cups Margarine ( I use the boxed kind, 4 squares)
Melt this for 1 minute and 4 seconds in your microwave
Once melty, add 1 cup Brown Sugar
& 2 Cups White Sugar
- Cream together, but do not overmix
Then Add :
4 eggs, 1 at a time, mixing a little between each one
4 tsp Vanilla
Beat until light and fluffy
Add : 4 to 5 cups of flour
2 tsp baking soda
I add 4 cups of flour, and depending on the
consistency, I may add up to another cup.
So many things affect this, like the weather..
weird, but true! Play with it a little, you can
always add MORE, you can't take it out.
Then Add 4 CUPS of chocolate chips.
Mix in with a wooden spoon, drop by spoonsfuls
onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake @ 325 for 10 minutes, flip pan around, and
bake another 2 minutes.
A Couple of Vloot Tips :
The first batch ALWAYS cooks faster, it might
not take the whole 12 minutes, maybe
check them at 8 & then flip the pan.
You don't want them super BROWN when you take
them out of the oven. If you leave them on the cookie
sheet for 5 minutes after you take them out of the oven,
they cool, and continue to bake a wee bit more.
